As you can tell, it’s been some time since I’ve taken the camera out on a photo shoot. I’ve been getting that urge once again to snap photos.
In case you haven’t heard, I’ve been hittin’ the books really hard over the past 3 months. 18 units isn’t exactly an easy thing to do.
Not that the end of the spring semester is near, I do plan on taking as many photos as possible. It’s going to be just like old times. “Wherever I go, my camera goes!”

I was hoping to do a 365 pic a day journal, but things didn’t really work out. I’m working on getting good grades in my college classes. I also have a couple other projects planned and I’ll be announcing them sometime soon. Thank you.

Here is to a new year! Here is to turning over new leaves! Wow, that’s alot of leaves to turn over.
I have to admit that I have somewhat of a long laundry list of things that I’d like to change in my life in this new year ahead of me. In the months that preceded today I haven’t really given much thought into a “resolution list”. So at this time the only thing that I can commit to is a 365, pic-a-day for 2011. I’ve been wanting to do this for a long time but never got it started.
Well, here it is…. Picture one of three hundred and sixty-five….

It’s been 2 weeks and I can’t believe it!
Jack has been riding with me for just a little over 2 weeks. I would have thought by now that someone would have took him. I’d like to credit that to morals and values of today’s youth, but that would be a little naive don’t you think?

Either way, I’m glad to see that he’s made it this far.
Notice my posts are getting shorter and shorter?
I’d like to post as much as possible, daily if I can so that means I won’t be to in depth or lengthy.
I just want to get a small thought off of my mind and share it with the world.

After having not been in a real classroom in over almost 19 years, I’m almost done with an 8 unit semester of classes and Modesto JC and San Joaquin Delta JC. It’s been a long time since I’ve had to go to school on a daily basis like this.
I remember what kind of student I was back in high school too. Not good at all. I remember never ever really doing any homework. Barely passing the required classes with C’s and D’s. I guess after all these years and realizing that better grades could have meant better life later, some things change.
Now I’m finding myself actually paying attention in class. I’m really taking notes and the lecture is being given. I actually go home and do homework. I even make sure to find study time before a mid-term or final. It’s amazing what a little study time can do for a test. lol
I have to split! As I’m sitting here writing the blogpost, I just happen to be taking a short break from studying. I have a mid-term tomorrow morning.
So, I gotta get going…. I’ll see ya on the next one!

Here we go again. This time I’ve made some NECESSARY changes and once again,….. It’s on!
I took a about 10 days off from my workout. I did this for a couple of reasons. I had so many things going on all at the same time that I felt I needed to “thin things out” instead of letting everything collide with each other.
One of the major changes I had to make was in my meal plan. My original plan was not tough at all. It was simply to eat healthier and avoid fast food, pizza, soda and reduce my carb intake. But with the convenience of “low carb” burgers, Subway sandwiches and a host of other “healthier options” being offered at most fast food restaurants, I found myself surrounded by “temptation”. Usually temptations that my taste buds couldn’t resist.
I have to admit. I love food. Wait! Let me rephrase that. I love food of almost any kind to include lots of foods that wouldn’t quite make it into the nutrition books. lol

I started paying more attention to my eating habits recently because there were times when I had just finished eating and not even 20 minutes would pass, and I’d find myself wanting to get something to eat, AGAIN! It was as if my gluttonous ways were taking over and getting the best of me, not once in awhile,… all the time.
Aren’t we all guilty of gluttony? I’m sure we are. Either way, I know I’m far from sin-free.
Nonetheless, I’ve made considerable changes to my eating habits and truthfully, I do feel much better.
